What can BlogAbroad do for my Study Abroad office?
It can change it for the better. BlogAbroad serves as a living, breathing study abroad handbook that gives prospective students an interactive glimpse into the life of students traveling abroad.
The Purpose:
The staff at BlogAbroad knows that living overseas for a summer, semester, year, or entire college education doesn't just impact the lives of students: it has the power to change the world. That is why our mission is to introduce as many students as possible to the cultural and educational opportunities available abroad.
BlogAbroad.com is a revolutionary new advocacy initiative created in an attempt to convince more students to study abroad. You can use this site to promote this industry on your own campus.
The Method:
Download our PDF or ask us for a shipment of them and give them out to students. We are also currently working on a poster you can hang up around campus
The intention is to inform more students about BlogAbroad. It is as entertaining as their favorite reality TV program, but while following the stories they are learning about the joys of studying abroad, and they are also learning that it is not as frightening as they might imagine. We have had numerous students read the blogs and become inspired to study abroad. The same thing can happen to your students.
The Added Benefit:
And as an added benefit, BlogAbroad is interactive, so any students considering going abroad can ask the bloggers questions and receive answers in real time. This can help them prepare for their semesters like almost nothing else currently in education.
